Winter Fest - ELL families have been invited to the family outreach event at Quinney/NDLC.  Please consider joining us for this event.

Book Fair - Currently, we plan to have the book fair set up in the lobby on Monday.  We will have it open for families from 3-4 on Monday and Thursday.  We will have it open Tuesday night and Friday afternoon as well.  Wish lists will be posted on the collab. center windows.  

Culver's Cards - Tanner PAC will be sending home information about the Custard and Curds for a Cause sale.  Families can purchase single scoops ($1), concrete mixers ($2) and cheese curds ($2).  All money raised will be donated back to Tanner PAC!  This sale runs through Nov. 30th.

Balloons Over Broadway - Please read this message from our MAPEL staff:

The "Balloons Over Broadway'' parade will be Friday November 18 starting around 11 am. Kindergarten specials will be shortened by 5 minutes for each group of classes so specials are done by 10:55.  We will need 1st grade teachers’ help getting the students ready.  MAPEL staff  will get the "balloons" and rhythm instruments to your classrooms. Please have students get their coats on and line them up in your classroom with balloons and instruments. We had up to 4 students creating a balloon, so if there are not enough sticks to hold on a balloon extra students can use a rhythm instrument.  There is no special order in your classroom for lining up to parade. We will parade out the blue wing door, around the back of the school, along Ann St and back in the blue wing door.  We will need your help collecting the "balloons" and instruments before dismissal.  

The KHS band will lead the parade. The order of classrooms is:  Neumann, Englebert, Copp, Conger, Fitzgerald, Nelson. 

Kindergarten students can view the parade from the playground.

Library Update - Janet will be having neck surgery this week.  Please join me in wishing her well with the surgery and the recovery.  

Welcome, Kathy Breitzman! - She will be covering for Janet beginning Nov. 8th through mid-December.  At this time, she will be her on Days 1, 2, 3, 5.  Please reach out to colleagues or IT for any tech coach support that is needed.
